Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using BowlsIQ, you agree to these terms of service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Description of service

BowlsIQ is a lawn bowls training and coaching application that allows players to record sessions, track performance analytics, log wellbeing data, and connect with coaches. The service is available as a mobile app for iOS and as a web application.

Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You may not create accounts on behalf of others without their consent.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use BowlsIQ for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to access another user's account or data without authorisation.
• Interfere with or disrupt the service.
• Upload harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content.
• Use automated tools to scrape or collect data from the service.

Your data

You retain ownership of all data you enter into BowlsIQ. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your data.

Coaching connections

When you accept a coaching connection, your coach can view your session data, analytics, wellbeing check-ins, and send you messages. You can disconnect from a coach at any time, which revokes their access to your data.

Account deletion

You may delete your account at any time from the app settings. Deleting your account permanently removes all your data from our servers, including sessions, analytics, wellbeing records, messages, and coaching connections. This action cannot be undone.

Service availability

We strive to keep BowlsIQ available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice where possible.

Limitation of liability

BowlsIQ is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or by email. Continued use of BowlsIQ after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of New Zealand.
